Initial Concerns
When any aspect of a child's learning and development appears to be different to what you would expect (for example, is typical of development two age-bands below their chronological age) then it is important to raise your initial concerns with both the SENCo and the child's parents or carers. The documents below are designed to support you with recording your concerns and making positive steps towards addressing them, improving the prospects for the child's future learning and development.
