Suffolk Assessment

Statutory testing, moderation and data collection will not happen in the summer term 2021 due to the pandemic.

We have left documents in place from 2019 and 2020 and these will be replaced when new information comes from the DfE about arrangements for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Assessment is an integral part of learning and teaching. It helps to provide a picture of a child’s or young person’s progress and achievements and to identify next steps in learning.

Assessment approaches need to promote learner engagement and ensure appropriate support so that all learners can achieve their aspirational goals and maximise their potential.

Assessment practices should be seen from the perspective of the learner. Learners should be engaged in all aspects of assessment processes and be afforded an element of choice and personalisation in showing that they have achieved the intended outcomes.
